The road to true love is paved with knives and bullets in this killer comedy starring Anna Kendrick and Sam Rockwell. Unlucky in love and with terrible taste in men, Martha (Kendrick) bumps into Francis (Rockwell) and finally meets the man of her dreams. Doesn't get everything right, but in between the quirky trying-too-hard moments are some amiably charming moments.

I love the ridiculous humor in "Mr. Right." Just enough over the top to enjoy it, without losing my attention to the plot, as much as it could never really happen. But who cares, it was super funny.

The action sequences are a little choppy, but the humour is spot-on and rarely fails to get a laugh.

This is not high art cinema, but for ninety minutes Mr. Right is just plain fun.

Mr. Right is a perfectly entertaining, harmless little rom-com film infused with some post-modernist fun that sets it apart from your standard Nicholas Sparks schlock.
