This should be the model for all studios when doing the live action remake thing.

I’m all for encouraging people to go see movies in theaters. In this case, though, if you need something to do with your kids this weekend, you can save a lot of money by staying home and watching the original How to Train Your Dragon together.

The live-action deftly delivers wit, charm, laughs, and tears, all while showing us the majesty of the winged creatures and the rough-and-tumble Vikings that provide so much personality and depth to a coming-of-age story about acceptance and change.

Essentially, Toothless is magnificent in live-action. Every scale glimmers, every muscle moves, and the franchise's beloved dragon's signature expressiveness shines through every scene.
