Pamela Drury (Griffiths) seems to be living the life of the ideal modern woman. She's an award-winning writer, she's traveled the world, and she owns real estate. But she can't shake the overwhelming feeling that she's missing something, never having fallen in love. She passed on Mr. Right, Robert Dickson (Roberts), when she turned down his marriage proposal 13 years before. Now, regret and desperation plague her as she finds herself trapped in the life of her alter ego.
