Jet Li's fearlessness to fold so much believable human frailty into what is otherwise a furious-fisted free-for-all renders "Kiss of the Dragon" the finest of his Hollywood outings ... and Li an indisputable king of the action-hero route of the devout.

An unusually balanced, satisfying martial arts extravaganza - and one of Li's greatest American endeavors.
