This is obviously as stupid as it wants to be because being stupid is the point of a talking meatball that shapeshifts into an igloo and a hot dog, but good heavens, this is also kind of pertinent!

Where it works best and where it's most accessible to those who haven't been longtime fans involves the satirical aspects.

Aqua Teen Forever: Plantasm is nothing but indulgent fan service, but for devotees of the original long-running cartoon, it’s a welcome return for Adult Swim’s iconic comestible antiheroes.

Surprise! This one's actually pretty good!
