Two feuding rock stars, American pop star Adam and minor British rock chick Morello, are scheduled to perform at the same music festival. As their sarcastic banter escalates, a mischievous preacher handcuffs them together and disappears into the crowd. All attempts to break free are thwarted, and eventually Adam and Morello realize there is no escape from each other.

…shot in terrible light, with cloud cover and rain making an event that looked pretty dismal in reality look like Hades incarnate on film…

The energy of the music festival experience is readily apparent, however, the narrative filling plays out like an impromptu film school assignment.

Filled with colorful characters that seem real and a surprising sense of spontaneity, spurred in part by its backdrop. Director David MacKenzie has pulled off a movie with the kind of easy charm that most romcoms struggle with.

We're left with the deflated feeling that we've witnessed something initially promising that proves wholly inconsequential.

What could have been a perfectly fine premise for a high-key comedy is negated by the fact that both lead characters are incalculably unappealing.
