Bon Appétit, action lovers! Jackie Chan stars as a television chef pursued by rival gangs of ruthless drug dealers who think he has an incriminating videotape. Of course, it's all a misunderstanding. When Jackie rescues the pretty journalist who shot the tape, she accidentally switches it with one of Jackie's. Now he has the evidence, and she has a video of Jackie making pasta. As the situation gets even worse, Jackie takes off his apron and treats the thugs to a double portion of Hong Kong-style action.

Sammo Hung's original cut of Mr. Nice Guy, as brought to us in this new Blu-ray release, is actually quite delightful, and illustrative of peak Jackie Chan/Sammo Hung collaborations.

Even by the low standards of Chan films, Mr. Nice Guy isn't very good.
