[The Tall Men] is not as good as it should be, but will do till a better Western comes along. The male stars are all at home in oats opera.

The Tall Men is a great big Cinemascopic Western, excellent in its way and helped by Clark Gable and Robert Ryan.

It captures colorful panoramas in CinemaScope, but somehow its western lacks epicity and traverses fairly regular terrain. [Full review in Spanish]

A long, loud and very corny big-budget western in which Clark Gable and Jane Russell growl love at each other...
