Unfortunately even these innocent franchises can strain the tenuous chord of likability they have and I'm afraid that is what Night at the Museum 3: Secret of the Tomb has done.

Proving a third visit isn't always a good thing, "Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb" is a film that feels like it is stuck in idle.

Not only are a large proportion of the gags repetitive, but they're also delivered by actors who are simply phoning it in.

This fairly entertaining kiddie comedy is full of funny little asides and exchanges that keep the pace going.

Secret Of The Tomb -- not as good as the first movie, but not as bad as the second one either -- attempts to recapture the purposefulness of the original movie, where there was a sense of a quest.
