This is the story of a judge, his wife, her ex-lover, the boy next door and a dead body that just won't go away... In this twisting, dark comedy, a respectable judge (Harvey Keitel) and his young, attractive wife, Nathalie (Cameron Diaz), are spending a vacation at her family's house on an idyllic island off the coast of Maine with only the caretaker, Nathalie's childhood friend Lance (Craig Sheffer). Alone one evening, Nathalie is surprised by an old boyfriend, Kent (Billy Zane). The next morning, she finds Kent naked and dead. Panicked, she hides the body in the cellar. But if there are only three people alive on the island, who did murder Kent ... and will he strike again?
