More often than not Horrible Bosses comes off as one of those comedies which feels more template than anything else.

On balance, Horrible Bosses is a decent employment of one's moviegoing time.

Short, well-paced and to the point, with a clear idea of what it wants to achieve. Thanks to an array of well-constructed jokes and comical situations which entertain without overdoing it, it does just that.

It's a little too fitting, maybe, that Horrible Bosses goes all vague and mushy and out-of-focus in trying to represent what a happy ending would even look like.

Frequently hilarious, with laughs arriving both hard and often once the film finds its feet, thanks in no part to the sharply written script and enthusiasm evident in the well selected cast.
