In this hilarious fantasy for baseball lovers, albert brooks stars as a desperate yankee scout who'll do anything to sign a new prospect. The last in a long series of baseball flicks this year, this one's the most believable. Yet it still doesn't quite manage to hit one out of the park.

The Scout is the best comedy-fantasy about baseball ever made, which goes to show that if Hollywood keeps trying, eventually someone will get it right.
