Join the shy but brave mouse Bernard and his glamorous partner Miss Bianca -- two tiny heroes on a great big mission to save a young girl named Penny who has sent an urgent call for help! The Rescuers is a film often forgotten, and it is easy to see why. While the film might not be a total disaster, it simply is bland and sadly wastes some genuine talent from both the animators and the performers.

Overall, it is entertaining and ideal for children ages one to one hundred.

Although not one of the studio's classics, it has warmth, humor and delightful characterization.

While it isn't the most complex or emotionally involving of Disney's masterpieces, it's still a notable work with loveable characters and family-friendly adventure.

Medusa is too much. She is too real. She is too cruel.
