One of Them Days begins to peter out towards the end and is not a classic by any means but these two make for such an effective comedic teaming that one hopes to see Palmer and SZA together again on the screen as soon as possible

One of Them Days might not necessarily be a great comedy, but it’s absolutely the type of comedy we should see more of in theaters nowadays. Palmer and SZA are a delight, and Lamont & Singleton’s work elevates what could be just a silly comedy.

The film revives Friday’s spirit while bringing its own flavor, and taking the current state of the world into full account.
