Greta Garbo stars as Mata Hari! Paris, World War I. Exotic, irresistible and lethal dancer Mata Hari (Garbo) entertains the Allies, seduces their generals and spies for the Germans. But the most beautiful and most dangerous spy of all time commits a fatal error by falling in love with the dashing Russian courier, Lt. Alexis Rosanoff (Ramon Novarro).
