"Ford V Ferrari is an excellent sports drama that proves you don’t have to be an expert on the rules to lose yourself in the game."

[The cinematography] perfectly conveys the glory of the sport's speed and its lethal danger by concentrating its framework on character ambition, which also ultimately motivates the camera and its direction for an enthralling, immersive experience.

By turns painfully earnest and unbearably smug, it’s a feel-good sports movie so single-minded about celebrating its heroes that the adoration nearly suffocates all else. Having said all that, the film is expertly directed and mostly highly entertaining.

Ford vs Ferrari shows nothing beats the experience of bombastic sound design, tires squealing, and sparks flying on a massive screen.
