Lucille Ball stars a Hollywood movie star who accepts a high school student's invitation to the senior prom in the musical romp Best Foot Forward. Bud Hooper (Tommy Dix) never imagines that Lucille Ball (Herself) will accept his invitation to the school dance--but, at the advice of her publicist, she does. Now, Tommy has a whole lot of explaining to do to his girlfriend (Virginia Weidler), to the school and to the whole town of Winsocki--as Lucille Ball's arrival rocks the students, the school and the entire town.
