Elizabeth Taylor, Jane Powell and Carmen Miranda star in this fun and featherweight romantic musical comedy. Judy Foster (Powell) and Carol Pringle (Taylor) are two teenaged best friends attracted to the same older man, a situation that is further complicated because Judy is already dating Carol's brother. Meanwhile the girls catch Judy's father dancing the mambo with a Brazilian beauty (Miranda)--and mistake innocent dancing lessons for something more serious.
