A visual stunner, this is a feast for the heart and the senses as we follow a group of British retirees from various walks of life who through happenstance make India and The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel their destination in their twilights.

One enormously jarring cheesie scene aside, this was such an enjoyable watch, and any time spent with Bill Nighy and Judy Dench is a good time.

Merely a mildly entertaining time-passer that will mostly please fans of the actors, who will no doubt find plenty to like behind its charming facade.
