Global action star Liam Neeson stars in this action thriller played out at 40,000 feet in the air. During a transatlantic flight, U.S. Air Marshal Bill Marks (Neeson) receives a series of cryptic text messages threatening to kill a passenger every 20 minutes unless $150 million is transferred into an off-shore account. With the lives of hundreds of passengers hanging in the balance, Marks must use every nuance of his training to uncover the killer traveling on the aircraft. Non-Stop costars Julianne Moore (The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1), Michelle Dockery (TV’s Downton Abbey) and Academy Award® winner Lupita Nyong’o (12 Years a Slave).
Rotten Tomatoes® Score
Critics Consensus: While Liam Neeson is undoubtedly an asset, Non-Stop wastes its cast -- not to mention its solid premise and tense setup -- on a poorly conceived story that hinges on a thoroughly unbelievable final act.
The filmmaking is playful without feeling jokey, the narrative stuffed with fun complications.

Common Sense Says
Tense, formulaic, action-packed thriller set on a plane.
What Parents Need to Know
Parents need to know that Non-Stop is an action-packed thriller with plenty of edge-of-the-seat moments that may thrill teens. It could also scare off both young and old viewers from flying, especially if they're already skittish about it since the movie's so tense and realistic. The body count's pretty high, too, served up with a big dose of brutality and some gore, which may prove too intense for younger teens. Expect some swearing, including "f--k," "s--t," and "d--k," and some drinking, too; one character is an alcoholic.
