Too long by far considering its obvious twist and nonsensical killer reveal. Amy Adams is doing her best with a nothing character, swathed in billowing pyjamas and hysteria, but aside from a few great visuals by director Wright, this is a miss.

An accomplished director, brilliant cast, great score, and eerie cinematography, this film should be a no-brainer award caliber film. Although the film isn’t terrible, it’s forgettable at best.

Between Hillbilly Elegy and The Woman in the Window, Amy Adam's Netflix Leading Lady phase isn't working out too well.

With plenty of twists and turns along the way and terrific lead performances, The Woman in the Window is bound to intrigue its audience. However, the slow pace is unforgivable at times, and overall it fails to feel cohesive and exciting.

Modern day Rear Window/Psycho! It’s entertaining, it’s crazy, & it features some really cool cinematography! Adam’s is always fantastic as well! If you’re looking for just a mess of fun this is what the movie is!

It’s safe to say that The Woman in the Window does not care to deliver a clear resolution, nor does it care to keep the viewer interested for long.

An actress of immense talent... [Adams] is hampered by a script that gives her little to do beyond drinking, taking pills and freaking out at images she sees in the window. It just makes for pane-fully dull viewing.

The Woman in the Window is a thriller for the casual film fan, not the aficionado. It works, just not as well as it should.
