The Rock teams up with Seann William Scott for a wildly entertaining action-adventure that Good Morning America's Joel Siegel raves is "One of the year's biggest, most fun movies!" Beck (The Rock) is a bounty hunter sent into the treacherous jungles of the Amazon to bring the rebellious Travis (Seann William Scott) back to the States. When Beck and Travis reluctantly join forces to hunt down a priceless treasure, this unlikely team embarks on a pulse-pounding, non-stop thrill-ride.

Critics Consensus: The Rundown doesn't break any new ground, but it's a smart, funny buddy action picture with terrific comic chemistry between Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Seann William Scott.

Common Sense Says
Mildly entertaining action movie with The Rock.
What Parents Need to Know
Parents need to know that this movie has a lot of "action violence" (non-graphic). Beck makes it clear that he doesn't like guns because he believes he does too much damage with them. He does end up using guns and doing a lot of damage. There is a mild sexual reference and a few bad words. Characters drink and smoke and ingest a hallucinogenic fruit.
