Really only works if you're willing to set aside any contradicting or convoluted narrative elements, at least offering up some effective atmosphere.

For what feels like a very long 85-minute runtime, we’re right there with Olsen, tolerating genre clichés that can’t be made up for with flashy editing or a good performance.

A flawed film with a near flawless performance by Olsen.

[W]hen you plug in the casting and acting, the ambient fear and suspense so excellently technically created, falls silent with lacking performances. And ultimately, in light of current news events, slips to levels of cheap disdain with the big reveal.

The tension of Olsen's virtually uncut performance becomes a big part of the suspense. And that performance, which dominates every frame, is a tour de force.
