There definitely is a lot of history to be found in Saludos Amigos, but hard to say that there’s much else beyond that.

While Saludos Amigos might not be the most iconic Disney feature and it is far from the best, the film still carries a unique magic and identity that makes it worthwhile to check out at least once.

Walt Disney's trip to South America for material has pro vided this ingenious piece -- more of a sketch-book than a film.

One of the more astounding sequences features a carnival song number, "Acuarele de Brasil " with Joe Carioca and Donald Duck as the leading characters.
